Hi there! My name is Kinsey Womble and I am so happy you are considering therapy. I truly believe that every single one of us have different experiences in life that shape us but we are in control of what defines us. I am so glad you are taking that next step in healing and I hope that I can be a safe space and a part of your journey!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing in the mental health field since 2018. I received my Bachelors in Social Work from Meredith College in 2017 and my Masters in Social work from East Carolina University in 2018. I worked in community mental health, specifically with at risk youth and their families, collaborating with Juvenile Justice, DSS and Foster Care agencies. I began working as an outpatient mental health therapist in 2019 and could not imagine myself doing anything else! I specialize in trauma and attachment work, parenting, and I enjoy working with all ages. I am trained in EMDR therapy, and will also utilize many other techniques such as mindfulness, play therapy, art and music.
I was born and raised in Wilson, NC. When I am not working I am spending time with my husband and daughter. We spend a lot of our time with family and friends or down at the coast!
